The Texas Assessment Conference, now entering its 29th year, stands as the sole statewide event dedicated exclusively to the dissemination of the most current developments in assessment, testing, and accountability across all levels of education—elementary, secondary, and postsecondary. Hosted by the Texas Association for Assessment in Counseling and Education, the Texas Association of Collegiate Testing Personnel, the Texas Association of School Administrators, and the Texas Statewide Network of Assessment Professionals, the conference offers a comprehensive platform for professionals involved in educational evaluation.

Since 2000, the annual Texas Association of Collegiate Testing Personnel Conference has been integrated with TAC, reflecting a sustained commitment to fostering collaboration among those responsible for administration of testing and assessment programs in higher education institutions throughout Texas. TACTP, a nonprofit organization serving individuals with interests or responsibilities in educational and psychological testing at Texas colleges and universities, further emphasizes the conference’s focus on advancing standards and sharing expertise within the field.
